The Spanish multinational Riu Hotels & Resorts does not stop growing around the world and considers its presence on the African continent as a risk not without opportunities.
Riu Hotels & Resorts continues with its unstoppable expansion, both nationally and internationally, which led it to close 2018 with enviable numbers: revenues of 2,114 million euros, three new hotels, reform of another seven and a record investment of 870 million.
A journey that has not gone back in 2019 either, with the reopening of the emblematic hotel in Madrid's Plaza de España, which is already the flagship of Riu, six more hotels and many future plans around the world, such as the projects opening a hotel in London in 2020 and another in Toronto in 2021.
The good results obtained by Riu in recent years have led the group to grow even above projected. And it is that up to four and a half million people chose during 2018 the hotels of this Spanish company, which already has a workforce of more than 30,000 employees. Riu's last purchase, a few days ago, was a hotel in San Francisco, the third of the group in the United States and the eighth of the Riu Plaza line, already present in Panama, Guadalajara (Mexico), Miami, New York, Berlin , Dublin and Madrid.
