Inside the Olympic area of Valley Hebrón, realized on the occasion of the Olympics of Barcelona ' 92 carried out the works of some of the singular buildings, as the Municipal Tennis Court, of the architect Tonet Sunyer, service building equipped with 17 tennis courts, Firing Range Building designed by architects Enric Miralles and Carme Pinós, constructed especially to enlarge the number of public coming, and Municipal Ball Centre by architect Jordi Garcés, with a total surface of 9.425 m² ready to receive 2.900 spectators.
The celebration of the 1992 Olympic Games had an enormous impact on the urban culture and outward projection of Barcelona. The Games provided billions of dollars for infrastructure investments, which are considered to have improved the quality of life in the city, and its attraction for investment and tourism.
